Don't Mess With Taxes

...Except for this week, when from August 16th to the 22nd, you can buy clothes and shoes valued at up to $300 tax free in CT.

It's great and all but it rules out my big weekend plans to buy $10,000 jeans and $1000 flaming leopard 4.75 inch heels.

Wait, I thought we could buy clothes tax-free all year...I'm confused.

As for the jeans and boots, if you've got the money, good for you, but at least buy stuff that isn't butt-ugly!

Tax free online - essentially all the time. Tax free in CT stores - now or never or next year.

Selected items = ugliest expensive clothes\shoes I could find so apparently, mission accomplished! Yay for me.
