Support the People who Tell Cancer Where to Shove It

Chris Rodriguez from 107.1 The Peak radio station contacted me to let me know he was headed to Stamford to support an important cause.

Join Chris at Rack N Roll on Saturday, May 8th @ 8pm for Rack and Run, a concert to support the Leukemia Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program. Check out their nifty little "getting to know you" video here. Team In Training is the group that helps people prepare for the physical challenges of charity marathons, half marathons, centuries, hiking adventures and triathlons. (Just writing all that made me tired.) So they support the people who support the cause to tell blood cancer where to shove it.

The concert features five bands from NYC: Peephole, The Shake, Deadbeat Darling, If But When and Ten Feet Deep. Ok, so you may not have heard of these folks but I have it on Chris' good authority that they are "very talented and ORIGINAL." If one of them makes it big, you can say you saw them first. (And then I can say I told you so.)

The event also features raffled prizes. More info is available on the Rack N Roll Facebook page.
