How Sweet Is This?
Two friends mentioned this to me today and the Stamford Advocate has it covered. The artist formerly known as the Clairol building on Blachley Road (Exit 9) is going to be magically transformed into Chelsea Piers Connecticut! It will be a sports complex a heck of a lot like the Chelsea Piers in Manhattan. The Advocate reports that the venue will feature activities like basketball, ice hockey and swimming. I know! Isn't this awesome???
I'm hoping for an arcade, laser tag, paintball, and bowling!! It's hard to believe that in a city of 100K people, there's not one single bowling lane!
Don't think they have bowling or golf in the plans. It's awesome nonetheless.
We got bocce courts. What more can you ask for?
