It loomed there for weeks, taunting me with its false promise of convenience. At the end of last week, there was an "Opening Soon" sign taped to the door, but I would not assume anything! I'd been fooled before. AND YET today, the CVS on Forest Street near Atlantic is open! Oh joy! The woman at the door told me they opened yesterday. We walked inside to see virgin office supplies, untouched makeup displays and Frito bags free of fingerprints. It was all...so...wonderful.
Ok, so perhaps I'm overstating the case, but I'm unhealthily excited to have a CVS so close to me. No more going half way around the world to get some food staples (or some regular staples). It's clean, it's convenient, it's brand spanking new, and since they
recently got sued for having outdated merchandise - I betcha they are on their very best behavior keeping things up to snuff.

I didn't think any of the "food" sold at CVS even had expiration dates, i.e.: Twinkies, pork rinds...
ReplyDelete...and no more trying to find a parking spot at Ridgeway when needing to pick up a prescription! Been looking forward to this for a long time.
ReplyDeleteThat would be Forest and Bedford, Atlantic ends at Broad St. Does this one have a Drive up Pharmacy? The one in Bulls Head will.
ReplyDeleteTrue! Good call
ReplyDeleteCVS seems to be colonizing Stamford. The one in Bull's Head will be closest to me - and not so very far from Forest St. Wonder what will take its place near Staples?
ReplyDeletePretty sure no drive up pharmacy, Rob.
ReplyDeleteI was on Forrest last night and saw it did not have a drive up. Walgreens at Glenbrook and E Main has one and the CVS in Bulls Head will have one.
ReplyDeleteAny idea when the CVS in Bulls Head will open? Been waiting for that drive thru!
ReplyDeletewhenis the CVS at bullshead opening??? anybody???? thanks :)
