...Except for this week, when from August 16th to the 22nd, you can buy clothes and shoes valued at up to $300 tax free in CT. It's great and all but it rules out my big weekend plans to buy $10,000 jeans and $1000 flaming leopard 4.75 inch heels.

Tax free online - essentially all the time. Tax free in CT stores - now or never or next year.
